Outrageously bright yarn, hand-dyed in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

Founded in 2018, Puzzle Tree Yarns began by dyeing mini skeins with the goal of supplying knitters with small and reasonably priced amounts of gorgeous yarn to add pops of colour to their projects.

In 2019 I began dyeing full skeins of yarn, all in super soft or limited-run bases, and started selling at local fibre festivals.

I have recently partnered with Sylvia MacFadden of Softsweater Knits, who released a shawl pattern zine “Parchment and Pressed Flowers” using our DK base. You can also find our collaboration sport-weight yarn “Acre” in 8 beautiful and coordinating colours at yarn shows in 2019 and 2020.

You can now find Puzzle Tree yarn in person at Wet Coast Wools in Vancouver, and Rainbow Felting in Strathmore AB.
